Friends of the Library

The purpose of the Friends is to support and promote the Okmulgee Public Library in any way or means which are in accord with the Library staff and the Library Board.

 

Meetings

The Friends of the Library meet in Jamuary, March, May, July, September and November. The Social begins at 6:00 pm and the meetings begin at 6:30 pm.

Join Us

Membership is open to all persons interested in the Friends purpose and who pay appropriate dues. You may join by dropping by the library and completing an application form.

Dues:        Individual- $4.00                       Lifetime (Individual)-$50.00

                 Family- $7.00                            Lifetime (Family)- $75.00

Book Sale

The Friends of the Library annual book sale will be September, 23rd from 9-4:30 and the 24th from 8-11:30. A special sale night for friends members will be Thursday, September the 22nd from 5-7:30.

Holiday Open House

The Friends host an annual Holiday Open House in December. More information will be posted at a later time.
