Adult Services

Reference and Information is available whenever the library is open by telephone, email or in person.  Books and other materials may be renewed by telephone.

Special Collections such as an genealogical collection, including area newspapers and Oklahoma telephone books are available.

The Library provides fax machines, computers and Internet connections for its patrons.

Inter-Library loan service is provided by the library.

Remember you can pick up Tax Forms while at the Library.  Forms from previous years are available to be copied.

Services for Children and Teens

Circle of Friends, a story-time for children who are from three to five years old where they are introduced to the world of books, stories, rhymes, poems and crafts.

Summer Reading Program, provides two months of summer fun for grade school age children. Makes summer reading enjoyable with storytellers, puppeteers, free gifts and prizes

Children's Book Awards, the Library has a collection of Newbery Award winning books, Caldecott winners, Coretta Scott King Award winners, and Sequoyah Book Awards.  Children can also vote for their favorite Sequoyah books each January.

School and Homework. The Library helps support education in Okmulgee with materials to help teachers, students, and home schools.
